Theories on the Zelda Chronology

Post by Lord of Games on Fri Aug 21, 2009 4:53 pm

We all know that the Legend of Zelda Chronology has the most difficult to understand storyline out of every game franchise. What are your theories on the games? Which ones come first, then which one comes next?

My friend and I have pieced together the puzzle one time, but I only remember that OOT is at the begining and from there splits into 2 timelines. I'll try to do it with him again the next time we talk.

We all know OOT comes first, and then MM. The other games can be placed in any order. It just depends who you talk to.

I'm pretty sure that AL2TP then the Oracle games are at the end of the dark timeline.

I know that TP is more than likely towards the end of the series, seeing as it takes many years after OOT. WW comes right after it if you ask me.

Well theories are very interesting but too be honest I think that it is just there to make us think and challenge us. Also I wonder if any more zelda games will be brought out to help us determine the order

That's one thing I love about the Zelda franchise. It tells various stories throughout its games, yet it leaves what order they happened up to your imagination.
